Unlike traditional invoice processors that need pre-configured templates per vendor, PDFTash AI understands invoice structure by context — it works on any invoice layout from any vendor.
Download as real Excel .xlsx with bold headers, or as CSV for import into accounting software, ERP systems, or databases. Both formats are ready immediately after extraction.
Results in 20–40 seconds. No queue, no batch processing delays. Upload your invoice, get the spreadsheet. Save hours of manual data entry per month.
Yes. PDFTash uses Claude AI which understands invoice structure contextually — not through fixed templates. Whether your invoice is from Amazon, a small freelancer, Zoho, QuickBooks, or a completely custom layout, the AI identifies and extracts the line item table correctly. No setup or configuration needed for different vendors.
The tool extracts all structured table data from the invoice: line item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, line totals, discounts, tax amounts, subtotals, and grand totals. For the header information (invoice number, date, billing address, vendor details), use our AI Extract Data tool which can pull specific fields into a structured JSON format.
For scanned (image-based) invoice PDFs, PDFTash will attempt to use Claude's vision capability to extract the table directly from the image. For best accuracy on scanned invoices, use the OCR PDF tool first to create a searchable PDF, then extract the table from that.
Currently PDFTash processes one PDF per upload. For batches of invoices, use our Merge PDF tool to combine multiple invoice PDFs into one document, then run a single extraction to get all tables at once with separate download buttons for each.
Yes. Many accountants and bookkeepers use PDFTash to quickly digitize invoice data for entry into accounting software, reconciliation spreadsheets, and expense reports. The CSV output can be directly imported into QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting platforms that accept CSV data imports.
